The former’s narration is weak (Al-Bani, Da’if al-Targhib wa al-Tarheeb, hadith no. Mirqa‘ al-Janda‘i who is a weak narrator. The Hadith is very weak because of Sulayman b. 2/ 143 and al-Bayhaqi in Shu‘ab al-Iman on the authority of Abu Bakr. This hadith is related by al-‘Aqili in his Du‘afa’ (weak narrators) vol. (Al-Bani, al-Silsilah al-Da’ifah, Hadith no. It narrated on the authority of Ma‘qil b. The Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, ‘Whoever recites Yasin once Allah will record the reward of reciting the Qur’an ten times.’ In some narrations surat al-Mulk is provided instead of Yasin. It has been reported by Aisha (radiAllahu anha)that the Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said that there is a surah in the Qur’an that intercedes for itsreciter and forgive its listener.
